  • 100 gm of butter
  • 200 gm of smoked salmon
  • Two lemons
  • Chili or harissa paste, half a teaspoon

8Method of preparation

You can begin preparing the dish by placing the salmon fillets in a single layer in a dish which is microwave friendly. Add in salt, pepper and butter. Cover the mixture with cling film and cook for about five to six minutes on high heat. You could also put it in a frying pan along with seasoning and poach in boiling water for a similar duration. At the time of putting the mixture in a food processor, add in the butter. Once the fish mixture has cooled, run it in a food processor and add in lemon juice. You can now add in the smoked salmon along with chili or harissa paste, lemon juice and seasonings. You can run the mixture till it is fine, but with a little texture. Put the salmon mixture in a dish for freezing and add in the remaining butter in heated form on top. You can have it served with garlic bread or on crackers, as per the occasion.

The above mixture can be preserved for later use as well. You can use it on bread along with a soup for a light and healthy meal like lunch. Alternatively, the mixture can be preserved to be served on crackers as a starter with drinks. For Alternative Delicious Indian Vegetarian Soups, Go Here.
