Cake With Chocolate And Orange Flavors

This is a chocolate ganache cake which includes the unique combination of chocolate and orange flavors. There is jelly flavor added to the cake as well. Ingredients to use
- Butter 250 gm
- Caster sugar, 300 gm
- 4 eggs, large
- Natural yoghurt, 100 gm
- 300 gm flour
- Baking powder, 2 tsp
- Zest of 4 large oranges
- Juice of 5 large ranges
- Save one orange zest for garnish
- Golden caster sugar, 100 gm
- 6 leaves of gelatin
- 2 tbsp. of apricot jam
How to make?
To make the jelly, start off by removing zest or the covers of four oranges. Set them aside for adding to the cake. Add in orange juice as well as sugar in a saucepan, heat gently to make the sugar dissolve. Soak the gelatin leaves in water till they soften in a few minutes. After removing the gelatin, squeeze out excess and add to the orange juice that is warm. Stir till well dissolved. You need to pour the liquid in a cake tin that is lined with cling film and greased. This should be prepared the night before and chilled.
Now you can start to make the cake. Line a cake tin with parchment paper and heat the oven from before. All the cake ingredients need to be added to a mixing bowl. To make the ganache you need to put in the cream and add in the chocolate. Allow the pan to be hot and to make a warm mixture of the above ingredients.
