Chia Seed Drink
INGREDIENTS
- Pomegranate 1 whole
- Mosambi 2 whole
- Water cold 1 cup
- Ice cubes (5 to 6)
- Black salt to taste
- Chia seeds 2 tbsp
The juice apart from providing the obvious health benefits from fibrous chia seeds is also filled with antioxidants and vitamin C that will work up your body really well. The drink can be taken at any time, but it works best when taken in the morning.
DIRECTIONS
- Start by juicing your pomegranate and mosambi. Store them in a pitcher in the freezer till other things are ready. Keeping it in the freezer will stop it from fermenting soon.
- Now take another mason jar and add ice cubes, black salt, and water to it. Shake it really well, till the time bubbles start appearing on the top layer, once you see it, keep it aside. Open the lid and throw in the chia seeds and give it another shake.
- Now take out the juice from the freezer. Add to the pitcher with water mixture, once added stir it really well and then put them into the glasses. Serve cold, and dress it with some pomegranate seeds.
TIPS
Make sure to not add sugar in this juice, the pomegranate, and mosambi work really well for flavor, adding sugar will sweeten it up too much.
