• ¼ cup unsalted butter
  • ½ cup packed and 2 tablespoons dark sugar
  • ½ cup toasted pecans
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter
  • 1 lb prepared pizza dough

For Caramel Glaze

  • ¼ Cup dark sugar
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter
  • 3 tablespoons cream
  • 1 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoons fine salt


  1. Butter the bottom and sides of cast iron skillet. Sprinkle the bottom with 2 tablespoons sugar.
  2. Mix the cream cheese and butter until it becomes smooth. Take pecans, salt, cinnamon and remaining sugar (1/2 cup) in another bowl.
  3. Roll the dough and stretch it into a square of 14 inches. Move it and apply cream cheese and sprinkle sugar on the half of it. Fold the half over the sugar part and press it in. Make 5 twists about each of the strips. In a spiral pattern, wrap the different strips together. Cover it and let it stay in a warm place for 45 min.
  4. Bake it until it is golden, for 30 min. And meanwhile, prepare Caramel Glaze.
  5. Bring a ¼ cup of packed dark sugar, 3 tablespoons of cream and ¼ cup unsalted butter to boil inside the saucepans. Heat this in the medium range. Boil it while stirring it continuously until sugar is dissolved. Take a roll in a serving plate and pour warm Caramel Glaze, serve warm.


Make extra of these sticky rolls as guests might want more.
