• 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup milk
  • 4 cups bread flour
  • ½ cups brown sugar
  • 1 ½ tsp active dry yeast
  • 2 tsp powdered sugar
  • ¼ cup butter
  • 2 tbsp softened butter
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 tsp salt

  1. Prepare the dough through the bread machine. Combine milk, eggs, butter, flour, sugar, salt and active dry yeast (while combining dry yeast with other liquid ingredients make an indentation first and then add it so that it does not mix with them) in the bread machine in a manufacturer – preferred order. A bread machine is a home appliance which could be used to prepare a variety of bread from various ingredients. It has certain options and choices through which the bread could be made suiting your wish and preference. Prefer the machine to be on dough cycle. Punch down the dough after transferring it to a floured surface after the dough is prepared and then allow it to rest for 10 minutes.
  2. Proceed to roll up the dough. You could choose the Sweet Bread setting if you wish to carry out functions in your Bread machine. Roll the dough into 9”x14” rectangles after dividing it into the half. Into that add brown sugar and cinnamon. Stroke the rectangles with 1 tablespoon softened butter and then lightly sprinkle cinnamon sugar mixture on top of it. Roll up the dough into loaves and then tuck in the edges. Cover the loaves with a damp kitchen towel and then allow it to rest for 30 minutes until it is doubled in size.

  1. Bake the loaves. You can either avoid this step or choose to proceed with the option in the bread maker which has options regarding the color of the bread and it could be set to a medium or dark. But you can also manually bake according to your convenience in 350 degrees C for almost 30 minutes. After it is baked, remove it, place it in a plate and sprinkle powdered sugar also known as confectioners’ sugar on to it. Enable it to cool for some time and then it is ready for serving.

  • Ensure that the baking in the bread maker is even and set the temperature rightly.
  • The bread can be consumed for a week after making.
