Ingredients to use

- 1/8th teaspoon of salt

- ½ cup of whole almonds
- 16 ounces of milk chocolate or any other chocolate for coating
Preparation method
You can begin by lining a pan 9 by 13 inches and coating it with nonstick cooking spray. Begin by combining condensed milk along with salt and vanilla extract in a bowl. Add in the confectioner’s sugar about one cup at a time. Stir with a spoon till the mixture is well formed. You can then add in the coconut and stir in till the mixture is well formed. Pour the mixture into a pan for baking and press it down into an even layer. Place almonds in the mixture in even rows. Place in the refrigerator for chilling. This will make the candy mixture firm. It would take about one hour. In the end you can use a chef’s knife and cut the candy into small shapes of rectangles. Melt and temper chocolate. Dip the bars in the melted chocolate and cover the bars completely. You can then place the pieces on a wax or parchment paper. Refrigerate the candies for about thirty minutes.
