INGREDIENTS

  • Almond milk 2 cups
  • Oatmeal ½ cup
  • Chia seeds 4 tbsp
  • Mangoes 1, cut in slices
  • Sugar 1 tbsp
  • Brown sugar ½ tbsp
  • Apple cider vinegar 1 tbsp
  • Salt a pinch

The recipe is very healthy and to go recipe. You can make it and have it right away or store it in a mason jar and take it with you. It is best suited for breakfast as it is a complete whole meal. The nutritional value is really high.

DIRECTIONS

  1. Start taking a pan and fill it with one cup of plain milk. Bring it to boil and then add the sugar, both white and brown into it, let it boil for another minute till the sugars are dissolved and now add the apple cider vinegar.
  2. Give it a stir and finally add the oatmeal to it. Cook it till the oatmeal is fluffy and then add the pinch of salt and stir well. Now take two mason jars, fill them with oatmeal at the bottom, equally in both jars, then add the almond milk to it and give it a nice stir.

  1. Now add the chia seeds into the jars. Give it a nice stir so they are equally incorporated. Now on top of the mixture, lay out the cup up mango slices and close the lid and let it refrigerate for the night. In the morning take it or eat it.

TIPS

Make sure to open the lid for a while once you take it out in the morning, it ensures no air bubbles or air pressure formed in the jar overnight that might stiffen the mixture.
