Chicken Samosa Recipe
INGREDIENTS
- Chicken breasts (finely chopped)
- Garam masala – 1 tablespoon
- Chilli powder – 2 tablespoons
- Fennel powder – 1 tablespoon
- Coriander powder – 1 ½ tablespoon
- Ginger-garlic paste – 2 teaspoons
- Onions – 3 (chopped)
- Tomato – 1 (grated)
- Green chilies – 3 (finely chopped)
- Chopped coriander leaves
- Multipurpose flour – 2 tablespoons
- Maida – 2 cups
- Ground pepper – ½ tablespoon
- Cilantro – 1/3 cup
- Rice flour – 1 tablespoon
- Water – 3 tablespoons
- Oil – 1 tablespoon
- Turmeric – pinch
- Salt – pinch
One of the best evening snacks for non-vegetarians. Taste is better with sauce or pudina chutney.
DIRECTIONS
- First, dry the onions until they turn brown. Then add the chilies chopped into this. Following that add ginger garlic paste wait for 5 seconds and then pour grated tomatoes. Mix it well. Wait for 1 minute. Sautee well for 30 seconds.
- Then add all spices like turmeric, garam masala, salt etc. Then mix cilantro and let it cook for one more minute.
- Pour multipurpose flour to it, and wait for a minute. Now, add well-cooked chicken and mix it well. Let it cool. The filling is ready. Sprinkle coriander over it as the final touch.
- Take maida and knead it by mixing it well with the proper amount of water till the dough becomes soft. Now, make small balls of the dough and then roll each ball to make thin, round shape.
- Dip these round maida in rice flour so that samosa becomes crispier. Now add the fillings into maida and pack into a triangular shape. Then fry this filled stuff till they turn golden brown.
TIPS
Make sure that you knead maida well.
WARNING
Don’t overcook the filling while preparing it.
