INGREDIENTS

  • 3 Tablespoons of melted butter
  • 4 fillets of white fish, approx. thickness should be 1 inch (bass, cod, halibut, etc.)
  • Zest and juice squeezed out from 1 medium sized fresh lemon
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • 1 teaspoon powder of onion
  • 2 teaspoon salt of Kosher
  • 1 teaspoon powder of onion
  • 3 tablespoon oil of olive
  • ¼ teaspoon of freshly ground black pepper
  • Surplus slices of lemon for serving
  • Freshly chopped leaves of parsley or basil, for garnishing and flavoring

DIRECTIONS

  1. Dry the moisture. Use some towels of paper to completely dry the excess moisture present in the fillets of fish. Removing moisture is important for fish so to brown it properly in the pan. After drying the moisture, set it aside and keep it for further use.
  2. Put all the ingredients together. Pick a large sized bowl. And in the large bowl, combine the juice obtained from lemon, melted butter and zest, and 1 ½ teaspoon of salt of kosher. Stir all of them to combine them properly. Pick another bowl and in it combine the rest of the ½ teaspoon of salt of kosher, powder of garlic, powder of onion, and some black pepper also. Now, evenly press the mixture of spice on both sides of the fillets of fish.
  3. Heat the oil. After the above step, pick a large sized pan. In the large-sized and heavy weighted pan, heat the oil of olive. Heat the oil over a medium-high flame until the oil becomes sufficiently hot. Then, cook the 2 fillets of fish at the same time to avoid any kind of overcrowding (as it allows for browning). Now, cook each side of the fish until the fish becomes completely opaque. Or cook it until it becomes softened in the center and is slightly brown in color. Meanwhile, lightly drizzle of a small amount of the butter sauce of lemon as you are cooking. And keep the remaining for the purpose of serving. Make sure that it is not over-cooked. Otherwise, it will become a tougher texture.

  1. Serve the dish. Now your delicious dish is ready. So, serve the fish with the rest of the butter sauce of lemon, parsley or basil, and some wedges of lemon.
