Meatballs with Rich Creamy Mushroom Sauce
Meatballs without any doubt are one of the most well known and most loved dishes around the world. It is a sophisticated dish and a comfort food and should, therefore, be kept simple. This recipe is one that I can say is an absolute hit every single time with family and friends.
Mushroom Sauce Ingredients
- 3 tbsp., butter
- ½ cup, onion chopped
- ½ cup, mushroom chopped
- 1 tsp., garlic minced
- 1tbsp., chicken powder
- 1 cup, milk
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 tsp., white pepper
- ½ cup, heavy cream
Prepare Mushroom Sauce
- Heat butter at a medium low flame in the same pan and sauté onion in it for about a minute; add mushrooms and again sauté for 3 minutes.
- Now add the garlic and cook it till the fragrance of garlic starts coming.
- Then add milk along with white pepper, salt and chicken powder.
- Stir continuously till the sauce thickens.
- Add the meat balls in it the mushroom sauce and simmer the meatballs for 8 to 10 minutes
- Add a little more milk or water if the sauce is too thick.
- Finally add cream and cook it for about 30 seconds.
Chicken Meatballs Ingredients
- 500gm, chicken mince
- 1 small, Onion finely chopped
- ½ tsp., Fresh garlic paste
- ½ tsp. Ginger paste
- 2 tbsp., Gram flour
- 1(beaten), Egg
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 tsp., Black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon, Oregano
- 3-4(chopped), Green chilies
- ¼ cup chopped, Parsley
Instructions
- Take a bowl and combine all the ingredients in it
- Shape the mixture into meatballs.
- Turn on the flame of the pan and add oil to it.
- Place the meatballs in the pan and let them fry 2 minutes at a high flame until the balls become firm and brown and remove them on a plate.
- Add the meat balls in it the mushroom sauce and simmer the meatballs for 8 to 10 minutes
- Add a little more milk or water if the sauce is too thick.
- Finally add heavy cream and cook it for about 30 seconds.
- Serve hot with noodles or boiled rice.
