  • 3 cups of milk
  • 2 peppermint tea bags with their string totally snipped off
  • Half a cup of sugar
  • Quarter of a cup of corn starch
  • 1/8 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of some vanilla extract
  • 2 ounces of some semi-sweet chocolate, nicely chopped

Method

The method of preparing this dish is quite simple. First up you will need to pour the milk in a saucepan and warm it nicely over medium to low heat. Now, once the milk is heated properly, you will have removed the heat and add in the mint tea bags in it, after which the milk needs to be covered and set aside for at least 10 minutes.

Now you will have to wish some sugar along with cornstarch and salt, in a large bowl. Once that is done, start pouring in the remaining cup of milk very slowly into the mixture along with the vanilla, and continue blending it properly so that there are absolutely no lumps.

Next up, remove the tea bags from the pre-heated milk and pour the milk into the sugar mixture, stir it really well to avoid lumps and put it back on low to medium heat. Increase the temperature to medium heat, while stirring the mix constantly till it acquires the consistency of mayonnaise. Now remove the mix from the heat and folding chocolate till the two mixes completely dissolve into each other. Strain the mix into a measuring cup and pour it into ramekins or glasses (as per your preference).
