- 3/4th tsp of baking powder
- 3/4th tsp of vanilla essence
- 1 cup of chopped pineapple
- 1/4th cup syrup

How to make?
Begin by greasing the base of a baking tin. Add some flour and granulated sugar. Ensure that the base of the tin is well coated. Break eggs in a mixing bowl. Add in salt, baking powder, vanilla, sugar as per the ingredients list mentioned. Beat all these ingredients well till a foamy and light mixture is created. The mixture needs to be well beaten and you can achieve this by using an electric mixer. Once you get a smooth consistency you can add in the flour. Mix the flour in gradually till a smooth mixture is formed. Preheat the oven and bake the cake for a time span of 15 minutes. When the cake looks spongy and baked completely, take it out and allow it to cool.
Once the cake is cooled, you can now prepare the topping and the layers. The pineapple syrup needs to be sprinkled on top as well as on a layer created by cutting through the middle of the cake. Layer the cake with whipped cream. Add on the chopped pineapples as well. Add on the other layer of the cake on top and repeat the same process. Add in the cream, pineapple syrup and chopped slices of the fruit. Once the cake layers are put together and the top decoration completed, put the cake into the refrigerator to chill.
