  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • ½ cup of diced onion
  • ½ package of frozen and chopped spinach
  • ¼ cup of fresh basil, chopped
  • 2 and 1/4th teaspoon of lemon juice
  • 1 and ½ teaspoon of dried oregano
  • 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/3rd cup of bread crumbs, seasoned
  • 3/4th cup of feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1 tomato, sliced thinly


How to prepare?

If you wish to use whole-wheat flour for the crust, you need to prepare the same. Take a spoonful of yeast and soak it in warm water. Meanwhile, take cup whole wheat flour and mix it with warm water in spoonfuls till a smooth dough is formed. Add in the yeast and allow the dough to rise. Set it aside for a couple of hours. Meanwhile, prepare the toppings for the pizza. Heat the oil in a skillet. Sauté garlic and onion in the oil till it is tender. Add in spinach and cook; allow the water to evaporate. Add in seasoning like lemon juice, basil, oregano, salt and pepper. Once the mixture has cooled it is time to take out the dough. Roll it out on a pizza stone that is preheated. Brush with olive oil. Once the dough has been toasted, it is time to lay out the topping ingredients on it. Add to the spread on the pizza top. Add in mozzarella cheese as well along with bread crumbs, tomato slices and feta cheese. Once the toppings are laid out, put the pizza in the oven for baking. The cheese should melt after which it is ready to be served.
