Healthy Smoothie Recipes with Yogurt
- ½ cup of plain yogurt, fatless
- 2 teaspoons of flaxseeds
- 1 medium size banana
- 2/3 cup of ice cubes
- 1-2 teaspoons of honey
This is a healthy smoothie to be had with your morning breakfast.
- Put the flax seeds in a blending jar and blend it till it forms a coarsely ground puree. Now, add yogurt, banana, ice-cubes, and honey. Make sure that it is thick and smooth. Serve it in two glasses.
If you want, you can prepare it beforehand. Store it in a covered jar. You can consume it till 24 hours.
Use only unsweetened yogurt for the smoothie.
