INGREDIENTS

  • ½ cup of plain yogurt, fatless
  • 2 teaspoons of flaxseeds
  • 1 medium size banana
  • 2/3 cup of ice cubes
  • 1-2 teaspoons of honey

This is a healthy smoothie to be had with your morning breakfast.

DIRECTIONS

  1. Put the flax seeds in a blending jar and blend it till it forms a coarsely ground puree. Now, add yogurt, banana, ice-cubes, and honey. Make sure that it is thick and smooth. Serve it in two glasses.

TIPS

If you want, you can prepare it beforehand. Store it in a covered jar. You can consume it till 24 hours.

WARNING

Use only unsweetened yogurt for the smoothie.
