- 1 box of pie filling mix
- 3 cups of cold milk
- 1/3rd cup of peanut butter
Ingredients for filling
- 1 jar of marshmallow crème
- 1 cup of butter
- 2 cups of powdered sugar
- 1/3rd cup of peanut butter and bananas, sliced
How to make?
If you are using cake mix, you will not have to take flour separately. In case you are not using the cake mix, mix and sieve the flour and baking powder mixture along with a pinch of salt and put aside. When you are using the cake mix, simply put the cake ingredients in a bowl and use an electric mixer to mix the same at low speed and for about 30 seconds. Ensure that you preheat the oven to 350 degree Fahrenheit. Grease the baking pan and keep aside. Pour the batter into the greased pan. Bake for about 25 minutes or more till the cake appears done. This is checked by inserting a toothpick and it comes out clean from the cake. The cake needs to be removed from the oven and then left to be cooled. Poke holes to almost the bottom of the cake and do this for every half inch. In a large bowl, add the ingredients for filling. Whisk the same for about one minute. Pour over the cake and spread it out so that the holes are filled. Allow the cake to set with the filing by refrigerating for an hour. Meanwhile, spoon the marshmallow crème onto a microwavable bowl and soften the crème by cooking in the oven at high heat for about 20 seconds. Add in the softened butter to this along with powdered sugar. This can be added as a topping on the cake. Just before you serve the cake microwave the peanut butter and top it on the cake along with sliced bananas. You can serve it like this or allow the cake to refrigerate.
