- Strawberries 10-11
- Kiwi cubes 1 cup
- 1 or ½ cup water
- Honey one tablespoon
- Yogurt ½ cup
Smoothies are a pack of anti-oxidants, it fills your tummy, refresh you and keep you in good shape. If you have not tried making smoothies, then do this now. You would be surprised to see how quickly you can prepare a super yummy smoothie.
- First, take strawberries and clean it with fresh water. If you are using frozen strawberries, then take it out from freezer about half an hour before preparing it and keep in warm water to defrost it.
- Take Kiwi, peel it and cut in into slices or random size. Now, take your blender and clean it.
- Put all ingredients in blender one by one. First, put all strawberries, then slices of kiwi, one tablespoon honey and then yogurt.
- Put a small amount of water in it at first and then run blender on high speed for a few seconds. High speed will give smoothie its right consistency. You can increase or decrease water quantity to get the required consistency of the smoothie.
You can add different flavors of yogurt to enhance the taste of the smoothie. You can add milk in place of water to improve the thickness of smoothie. If you are using fresh fruits add ice in a blender, when using frozen fruits, no need to do so.
Do not over blend smoothie or you won’t get the right taste. If you are using frozen strawberries, reduce the amount of water as strawberries already have a good content of water in it. Also, avoid putting ice if you don’t want to make a super cool smoothie.
