INGREDIENTS

  • Juice squeezed out of lemon
  • 1 clove garlic, should be properly minced
  • ¼ cup of sauce of soy
  • 1 teaspoon of pure honey
  • ¾ teaspoon of oil of olive
  • ¼ teaspoon of black pepper (ground); additional for the garnishing purpose
  • ¼ teaspoon of red pepper flakes
  • 4 (6 ounces) fillets of salmon
  • 1 tablespoon oil of olive
  • ¼ teaspoon of sea salt; extra for garnishing
  • 1/3 teaspoon of brown sugar (packed)

DIRECTIONS

  1. Heat the oil. First of all heat ¼ teaspoon of oil of olive in a small sized skillet over medium-high flame. Thereafter, sauté the clove garlic until it starts turning brown. And then, blend the sauce of soy, juice squeezed out of a lemon, sautéed garlic, pure honey, ½ teaspoon of olive oil, packed brown sugar, sea salt, ground black pepper, and the flakes of red pepper together in one bowl. Now, pour it into a large-sized re-sealable bag of plastic. And now, add the fillets of salmon, turning to coat with the obtained marinade. Then, squeeze the plastic bag to discard the excess air and then seal the bag properly. Marinate it in the fridge for about 1 hour or so.
  2. Remove the salmon. Remove it from the obtained marinade and then shake it to remove the surplus liquid. Reserve about 3 tablespoons of marinade and remove the remaining. After this, heat 1 tbsp of oil of olive in a large sized skillet over medium flame. Thereafter, arrange the fillets of salmon in the hot skillet. And then, pour the marinade reserved by you over the salmon and place a lid properly on the skillet.

  1. Give the final touch. Cook the salmon, until each of its sides turns brown in color and gets flakes easily with the help of a fork. Keep occasionally spooning the liquid carefully from your pan over the fillets for around 2 to 3 minutes per side. Finally, garnish the salmon with some extra black pepper and sea salt. Finally, the delicious dish is ready, so serve it warm and chill.
